Abstract:Inthispaper,wedemonstratedthatAunanorodscoatedwithashellposedofPtnanodots(Au@Ptnanostructures)exhibitedintrinsicoxidase-like,peroxidase-likeandcatalase-likeactivity,catalyzingoxygenandhydrogenperoxidereductionandthediutationdepositionofhydrogenperoxidetoproduceoxygen.Basedonthesefindings,weestablishedanAu@Ptnanostructuresbasedenzymelinkedimmunosorbentassay(ELISA)forthedetectionofmouseinterleukin2(IL-2).Inparisonwithnaturalenzymes,Au@Ptnanostructuresheadvantagesoflowcost,easypreparation,betterstability,andtunablecatalyticactivity(paredwithHRP),whichmakethemapromisingenzymemimeticcandidateandmayfindpotentialapplicationsinbiocatalysis,bioassays,andnano-biomedicinesuchasreactiveoxygenspecies(ROS)-relatedfields(anti-agingandtherapeuticorneurodegenerativediseasesandcancers).2016ElsevierLtd.

Abstract:Inthiswork,ZnOthinfilmswerepreparedbysol-gelmethodonglasssubstrateollowedbycalcinationsat500°Cforanhour.Theeffectofglucoseonthestructureandopticalpropertiesofthefilmswasstudied.ThestructuralcharacteristicsofthesampleswereanalyzedbyX-raydiffractometer(XRD)andatomicforcemicroscope(AFM).TheopticalpropertieswerestudiedbyaUV-visiblespectrophotometer.TheresultsshowthatsomeofthepreparedZnOthinfilmsheahighpreferentialorientedc-axisorientationwithpacthexagonalwurtzitestructureduetoaproperamountofglucoseintroducing.AfterintroducingtheglucoseadditiveinZnOcolloids,theintensityof(002)peak,thetranittance,andtheopticalbandgapoftheZnOthinfilmsincreasesbecauseoftheenhancedZnOcrystallization.Onthecontrary,theabsorbance,thefilmthickness,andthesurfaceroot-mean-square(RMS)roughnessoftheZnOthinfilmsdecreases.TheglucoseadditivecouldnotonlyimprovethesurfaceRMSroughnessandmicrostructureofZnOthinfilms,butalsoenhancethetranittanceandtheenergybandgapmoreeasily.2016ElsevierB.V.Allrightsreserved.

Abstract:Anovelmethodwithgeneraltensorrepresentationforfacerecognitionbasedonmultilinearnonparametricdiscriminantanalysisisproposed.TraditionalLDA-basedmethodssuffersomedisadvantagessuchasallsamplesizeproblem(SSS),curseofdimensionality,aswellasafundamentallimitationresultingfromtheparametricnatureofscattermatrices,whicharebasedontheGaussiandistributionassumption.Inaddition,traditionalLDA-basedmethodsandtheirvariantsdon'tconsidertheclassboundaryofsamplesandinteriorstructureofeachsampleclass.Toaddresstheproblems,anewmultilinearnonparametricdiscriminantanalysisisproposed,andnewformulationsofscattermatricesaregiven.Experimentalresultsindicatetherobustnessandaccuracyoftheproposedmethod.Springer-Verlag2016.

Abstract:Superhydrophobicpoly(methylmethacrylate)-SiO2(codedasPMMA-SiO2)nanopositefilmswithmicro-nanohierarchicalstructurewerepreparedviaasimpleapproachintheabsenceoflowsurface-energypounds.Byspin-coatingthesuspensionofhydrophobicsilica(SiO2)nanoparticlesdispersedinPMMAsolution,targetnanopositefilmswereobtainedonglassslides.ThewettingbehiorofPMMA-SiO2nanopositefilmswasinvestigatedinrelationtothedosageofSiO2nanoparticlesdispersedinPMMAsolution.ItwaoundthathydrophilicPMMAfilmwastranerredtosuperhydrophobicPMMA-SiO2nanopositefilmswhenhydrophobicSiO2nanoparticleswereintroducedintothePMMAsolutionatahighenoughdosage(0.2gandabove).ResultantPMMA-SiO2nanopositefilmshadastaticwatercontactangleofabove162°,showingpromisingapplicationsinselfcleaningandwaterproofforouterwallofbuilding,outercoveringforautomobile,sanitarywares,andsoforth.2016ElsevierB.V.Allrightsreserved.

Abstract:Althoughanizationalslackresearchpositsvariousrelationshipsbetweenafirm'sslackresourcesandinnovation,findingstodatehebeenambiguous.Toprovideinsightintothisrelationship,thispaperstudiestheimpactofanizationalslackontechnologicalinnovationbyusingempiricalanalysisbasedonthedatagetfrom283firmsinHenanProvincebyquestionnaire.Theresultshowsthatanizationalslackispositivelyrelatedtotechnologicalinnovation.TheanalysisalsofindsthatthereistheinvertedU-shapedrelationshipbetweenafirm'sslackresourcesandtechnologicalinnovation,butthisrelationshipisnotsignificant.Overall,resultshighlighttheimportanceofadditionalresearchintointerveningfactorsimpactingtheslack-innovationrelationship.2016IEEE.

Abstract:Inthiswork,ZnOthinfilmsweresynthesizedbysol-gelmethodonglasssubstrateollowedbycalcinationsondifferenttemperatures.Theeffectofannealingtemperatureonthestructureandopticalpropertiesofthefilmswasstudied.ThestructuralcharacteristicsofthesampleswereanalyzedbyX-raydiffractionandatomicforcemicroscope.TheopticalpropertieswerestudiedbyaUV-visiblespectrophotometer.TheresultsshowthatallthepreparedZnOthinfilmsheahighpreferentialorientedc-axisorientationwithpacthexagonalwurtzitestructure.Withtheincreasingannealingtemperature(mse.ufl.edu),theintensityof(002)peak,particlesize,surfaceRMSroughness,andabsorbanceoftheZnOthinfilmswereincreasedaswell.Onthecontrary,thetranittanceandopticalbandgapsweredecreased.2016Springer-Verlag.

Abstract:Inthepresentwork,aqueouspoly(propyleneglycol)(PPG)solutionwasseparatedintoaqueoustwo-phasesystems(ATPSs)inthepresenceofionicliquid1-allyl-3-methylimidazoliumchloride([Amim]Cl),1-butyl-3-methylimidazoliumacetate([mim]Ac),or1-butyl-3-methylimidazoliumchloride([mim]Cl).ThetopphasewasPPG-rich,whereasthebottomphasewasionicliquid(IL)-rich.Liquid-liquidequilibriumdatafortheATPSsandthesalting-outcoefficientsoftheILshebeendeterminedat298.15Kandatmosphericpressure.Itwasshownthatthebinodalcurvesandthetie-linescouldbedescribedbyathree-parameterequationandtheOthmer-TobiasandBancroftequations,respectively.Thesalting-outabilityoftheILsonPPGwaoundtofollowtheorder:[Amim]Cl>,[mim]Ac>,[mim]Cl>,[mim][BF4].SincePPGisathermo-sensitivepolymerandcanberecoveredsimplybyheating,thesenovelATPSsareexpectedtoheapplicationsintherecyclingand/orenrichmentofhydrophilicILromaqueoussolutions.2016AmericanChemicalSociety.

Abstract:Theself-similarityofplexhasextensivepracticalbackgroundinrealworld.Itissimilartothephenomenaofsocialrelationships:"thingsofonekindetogether,birdsofafeatherflocktogether".Hence,weproposedtheself-similarityworkevolvingmodelbasedonattributessimilaritybetweenthenodes.Inworkeachnodehastheattributevalue,bythisputedsimilaritybetweenthenodes.Iftwonodesattributesimilarityfallsincertainsector,thenestablishedtheconnectionbetweennodes.Thesimulationakeclearthatthedegreedistributionoftheself-similarityworksimilartotheall-worldworks.Theclusteringandtheeragepathoftheself-similarityworkareallerthanBAmodelandarebiggerthanallworld.SimilarityworkmodelisanewcharacteristicofplexworkexcepttheBAmodeandtheallworldmode.Ontheotherhand,theself-similarityworkhasgoodrobustnesstorandomfaultanddeliberatelyattack.2016IEEE.
